The JPI CoNect Project Travels to Spain

As the world becomes more interconnected, it is becoming increasingly common for teams to be distributed across multiple countries. This presents both opportunities and challenges, as team members bring diverse perspectives and expertise but must also navigate cultural differences and communication barriers. The #JPIconect project is a prime example of such a team, with members hailing from six different countries across Europe.

After six months of virtual meetings and workshops, the team was eager to meet in person for an intensive work session. The trip provided us with an opportunity to collaborate in a more focused and productive environment and allowed us to make significant progress on the project and platform, and the in-person interaction facilitated more productive and efficient collaboration.

Overall, the #JPIconect team's trip to Seville served as an excellent example of the potential benefits of in-person collaboration for distributed teams and we look forward to presenting the output of the discussions and workshops in the following months.
